7 Months old :-)

Nathan, you are growing up so fast. Your 6 month old self would hardly recognize you. Our nap strike is finally over! Yay! It helps that Momma figured out you like sleeping on the floor beside her. You are so hard to take pictures of now, its seems I have to take a million shots to get one that captures your incredible smile and attitude - most of the other ones are blurry cause you move sooo much!

We measured you yesterday at home, and by our calculation you are 18 pounds and 27 and half inches. You are already in 9 month and some 12 month clothing. We can wear some 6 month - but they are getting tight because of your length.

You are such a great eater. I made zucchini and apple puree yesterday and you gobbled it up!
We have already eaten so many vegetables and fruits. The only one you aren't fond of, but will eat reluctantly, is carrots. You like avocado, banana, sweet potato, butternut squash, apple, pear, zucchini, broccoli, peas, and mango. And making them for you is so easy, I'm glad I committed to making food for you. You are also getting so much better at drinking water from your sippy cup. You still light up though when you see Daddy's big water cups that he lets you drink out of from time to time.

A few days ago you impressed us by moving forward (army crawling) about half a foot. Now we blink and you are somewhere else we didn't expect you to be! Good thing we baby proofed early!!! You were already running circles around the dogs in your walker, I have a feeling we are going to have our hands full very soon! Oh and you are pulling up on anything you can get your hands on. Still shaky in the middle once you are up, but I am amazed at your strength.

Despite our efforts, you love your pacifiers, and they seem to calm you down. Oh well, we will just have to fight that battle later I guess! You always sleep with Chuck, your lovee that is a beaver. You love gnawing on his hat, teeth and soft tail.

Your laugh is the sweetest sound, but you only do it when something really makes you laugh. During tickle fests you smile your huge smile and giggle some, but its a real accomplishment to hear your laugh.

We love you so much, little bug. We are so excited to continue to watch you grow and develop. Just not too fast ok? :-)
