Nathan, today you are 8 months old.
This past month has been a month of firsts.
| So excited they served him Cheerios at Cafe Mimi's |
You like puffs the best because they are easier to pick up, the bananas and mango are a bit slimy
Your new foods this past month were Mango, Plums, Chicken, Squash, Green Pepper, Yogurt, Blueberries, Puffs, Cheerios and Pumpkin.
You have your two first teeth, the left bottom one came in a week or so before the right bottom one. Its hard to see them sometimes because you like to stick out your tongue when we look. A couple days ago you started discovering your tongue and it was so cute. We thought you had paper in your mouth - cause you find those things now - but it was just you figuring out what that thing was in your mouth.
You are crawling. You army crawled at first and then a couple weeks later you were up on your hands and knees. Daddy quickly finished baby proofing and lowered your crib and bought a baby yard for the house. We had to go back to the crib now that you are active for naps. Too many times I would find you crawling off your pillow and coming to look for me after you woke up! One time I opened the door and you were right on the other side!
Video of our crawler!
You love chasing the dogs still and are very skilled in your walker. You like that you can move other ways though and still go after the dogs and their toys once I set you on the ground. You are beginning to pull up on things, the bookcase, your crib the baby yard, and get to your knees. Once you even went to standing while we nervously were behind you so you wouldn't crash too hard once you let go. I don't think it will be long until you are pulling up to stand on everything, oh boy!| Digging all his toys out of the toy box |
| This is my toybox! |
Its been a whirlwind of changes for all of us and you are growing up so quickly!
