What a fun Easter weekend we had! This is your first official Easter to hunt eggs and you are a pro! I guess all the training we have been doing by having you pick up your toys and other things
around the house came in handy! :-)
Our first hunt was at Gigi and Grandpa's house on Saturday. Dada played piano with you and Gigi read you your first Easter book.
Grandpa got you your very own Toy Story boots, you loved them! We had dinner there after the hunt and you had lots of fun with your Uncle Scott and Aunt Erin. You were all about the honey ham though! You couldn't get enough! And Aunt Erin made a bunny cake that looked like a real bunny! It was delicious!

The
second hunt was at church. It was fun and chaotic and you realized that
these eggs had candy in them pretty quickly! I had to refocus your
attention back to hunting eggs because you wanted to eat the candy!
The last hunt was after church at your Mimi and Bum's house. You had
lots of fun with your cousins Hayden and Harper. You were most excited
that some of the eggs had money in them. You made lots of pig noises to
let us know you wanted to put them in your piggy bank! Then you and your
cousins played outside and had lots of fun getting in the sandbox and
tossing bouncing balls around. You loved the dinner afterwards and we all had such a great time with family!

Oh, it was such a great time. A holiday weekend full of family and friends and fun.
Next year I think we will dye our own eggs, that should be messy but fun!
Thanks for sharing Nates first Easter. Enjoyed seeing your family Easter celebration. So fun.
